Flower Resort

Flower Resort is a 3-star hotel in Mae Haad, Koh Tao, with direct access to a private beach area. The resort has a sun terrace and garden, and Sairee Beach is 50 m away. Its restaurant serves American, Thai and international cuisine, with a bar on site.

Four room categories are available: Deluxe Twin Bungalow with Balcony, Deluxe Family Room with Balcony, Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Twin Room with Balcony. The bungalow and family room are configured for two guests and have private bathrooms and air conditioning; their highlights include garden, city and inner-courtyard views, and the family room also has a mountain view. Room features include a patio, terrace, soundproofing and coffee machines, with a flat-screen TV in the family room.

On-site facilities include a fitness centre, room service, free WiFi in the rooms and free private parking. Activities include snorkelling, diving, hiking, windsurfing and fishing. A shuttle from the resort to the harbour runs between 08:40 and 14:30. Mae Haad places the resort near the island’s ferry services and west-coast beaches.

The four room types are Deluxe Twin Bungalow with Balcony, Deluxe Family Room with Balcony, Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Twin Room with Balcony. The bungalow and family room each accommodate two people and have an extra-large double bed; the Deluxe Double Room is for one guest with a double bed, while the twin category accommodates two in two single beds. The bungalow is 24 m², and the family room is 213.36 m².

The bungalow and family room have private bathrooms, air conditioning, soundproofing and coffee machines. The bungalow has garden, city and inner-courtyard views, a patio and terrace; the family room also has a mountain view and flat-screen TV, and its facilities include a bathrobe. Balconies feature across all four categories, with bed arrangements ranging from a single-occupancy double room to a twin layout.

Flower Resort's grounds include a private beach area, garden, sun terrace and terraces. Facilities for time on the water include snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, fishing and on-site water sports, while hiking is also available. Sun loungers or beach chairs are provided, and evening entertainment and happy hour are also available. A tour desk, luggage storage, private check-in and check-out, a minimarket and a shared lounge are among the other facilities.

The restaurant, bar, snack bar and on-site coffee house serve as dining venues, with kids' meals, special-diet menus on request, fruit and wine or champagne also available. Room service and a fitness centre are provided. WiFi is free in the rooms; free private parking is available on site without reservation, with valet parking also offered. A shuttle service runs from the hotel to the harbour between 08:40 and 14:30.

Flower Resort is in Mae Haad, the pier-side village on Koh Tao’s west coast, 850 m from the town centre. Direct beach access puts the shoreline beside the property, and Sairee Beach is 50 m away; Mae Haad Beach is 350 m away. Mae Haad is Koh Tao’s main service village, with banks, pharmacies, the government hospital and a hyperbaric chamber. Shops, restaurants and ferry services serve the village, while the shore links Mae Haad with Sairee on foot.

Mae Haad is the island’s ferry arrival point. Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 850 m from the resort, and a hotel shuttle to the harbour runs from 08:40 to 14:30. Free private parking is available on site, without reservation. Ferries connect Koh Tao with Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Chumphon; rough seas can disrupt crossings, especially between November and January. Give the resort your expected arrival time in advance: check-in is from 10:00 to 17:00.

The flat brick path between Mae Haad and Sairee takes about 15 minutes on foot, linking the pier village to Koh Tao’s main 1.8 km beach strip, with dive schools, restaurants and beach bars. Sairee Viewpoint is 1.3 km away, while Jansom bay is 1.7 km away and Nangyuan Island is 3.7 km away. Diving and snorkelling are among the island’s main activities; long-tail boats run to Koh Nang Yuan, whose three islets are connected by sandbars. Mae Haad and Sairee are on the west coast, generally the calmer side from November to March; ferries can still be cancelled in rough weather.
